MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin pop culture. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. In 2017, he released ADN The First Long-Player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the top 8 spot within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and Ozuna the year after. He released in 2020 the chart-topping sophomore album Dopamina and also collaborated on Mala Influencia together with Noriel. Later in 2021 he performed in a duet with TINI's stream smash single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a musical family his mother and older brother have been musicians. According to him, music was a fundamental element of his existence. In his childhood he was taught how to perform on the piano, saxophone and guitar. Though his original goal was becoming a veterinarian his brother Julian got him to attend singing lessons with one of the Cuban.
